About Us
Our mission is to advocate for the normalization of financial literacy, a skill that is often overlooked in the mainstream education system. Through interviews, research papers, educational videos, and blog posts we publicize the “behind the scenes” aspect of working in finance and majoring in finance while still providing the necessary resources to ensure the youth have a fundamental grasp of the essentials of finance. With your help, we can standardize and popularize financial education to ensure that everybody understands this vital skill.
Meet the Founder
My name is Conrad Krol. I am a Junior at Bellevue High School in Washington State and I have been passionate about finance for as long as I can remember —specifically investing. Due to the lack of financial education in schools, a majority of what I have learned about finance has been through my own research, or trial and error. This is what motivated me to start Westbank Financials in my freshman year of High School. We are an organization dedicated towards advocating for the implementation of financial literacy within schools across the globe. Through Westbank Financials, I hope to make financial literacy a life skill that is normalized within our education system, ensuring that all students have access to financial education within their classrooms.
